SonoNordic ABProvider and content

AkutPOCUS is an educational and reference app for healthcare professionals and medical students. It presents general content, does not record patient information and does not provide patient-specific diagnoses or treatment recommendations. It does not replace training, local procedures or independent clinical judgement.
Free and full access
All of eFAST, the lung and thorax organ section with lung findings, and arterial line content are free. The BLUE protocol and other paid sections require full access. Monthly and annual subscriptions provide the same content. App information, privacy, terms, support and restoring purchases do not require a subscription.
Price and payment
The Swedish base price is SEK 49 per month or SEK 399 per year. The annual price is paid in one amount. The price, currency and taxes shown in the store's purchase confirmation apply to your purchase; other markets may have different prices. Payment is through Apple App Store or Google Play and is linked to the store account. There is no trial unless expressly offered at purchase.
Automatic renewal and cancellation
Your subscription renews automatically for another month or year unless you turn off renewal in your Apple or Google account. Follow the store's deadline; we recommend turning off renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends. Ordinary cancellation leaves access available until the paid period ends. Cancellation alone does not refund remaining time, but statutory rights apply. Uninstalling or deleting data does not cancel the subscription. Price changes are notified and require consent where applicable; they do not retroactively change a period already paid for.
Offline access
After an online check, you can use stored content until the actual verified expiry date, including for a full annual subscription. A network error alone does not remove a valid stored period. Renewal, restoring purchases and correcting invalid local status may require a connection. After expiry without verified renewal, access must be verified again. Free sections remain available. Refunds or revocation may end access when status is updated. Changing the device clock may trigger a new check.
Restoring purchases and ambassador access
Use Restore purchases with the same store account used for purchase. There is no SonoNordic login or promised automatic transfer between Apple and Google. Ambassador access follows the period and conditions in your invitation. Apple ambassador codes provide six months free without automatic renewal. Google Play ambassador codes provide a 90-day free trial of the monthly subscription, followed by automatic paid renewal unless you cancel in Google Play before renewal; a valid payment method is required. We recommend turning off renewal after redemption if you only want the free period. Manually granted access expires on the agreed date and does not automatically become paid access. Changing phones or reinstalling may require manual assistance for these grants; provide your support ID. Previously agreed access periods remain unchanged.
Withdrawal, faults and refunds
Mandatory consumer rights apply. Any loss of the right of withdrawal when digital delivery starts depends on legal conditions and express consent and acknowledgements at purchase. Opening the app or reading these terms alone is not such consent. You can request a refund through the store or contact SonoNordic about faults and claims. Include the app version and a brief description without patient information. Store procedures do not limit statutory claims. Unresolved disputes may be eligible for ARN in Sweden or a relevant local complaints scheme.
Content rights and updates
Access lets you use the content in the app, not resell or republish it without the rights holder's permission, subject to legal exceptions. We may correct and update the app. Material changes are handled with information and statutory rights. Keep the app updated to receive corrections; offline content does not update itself. These terms do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Information processing is described on the privacy page.
